Depending how long the urine has been there. For new/wet stains:
Blot wet area with a paper towel. Rinse with warm water and apply a mix of 1 tsp white vinegar (buy in grocery store) 1 tsp liquid detergent and 1 pint of warm water. Let sit for 15 minutes, blot up excess wetness. When the stain is dry and gone, you can cover the stain with baking soda, let stand over night then vacuum. This should eliminate any odor.
If the stain is old/dry or still exists, go to the store and buy "Spot Shot". It's got a bright orange cap. You can buy it in the grocery store in the carpet cleaning aisle. Follow directions. It seems to work wonders on any pet stain.
Make sure you test a small area for color fastness.
Arm and Hammer has a great dry product in a box,(grocery store) you sprinkle on the carpet and then vacuum it up. Its specifically for pet odors.
It smells really fresh, but does nothing for pet stains.
Good luck

i take advantage of a three step procedure for procuring rid of puppy stains. First, I soak the carpet for the time of to the pad with an enzyme cleanser that i'm getting at Petco. make optimistic it is not any longer the "oxy" version, it has to have enzymes in the record of elements. I positioned a sparkling white towel on proper of the spot and enable it sit down in one day. the subsequent morning I take the towel off and enable it air dry. If there remains a serious stain, i take advantage of an aerosol cleanser said as "spot shot." I spray it on the stain without soaking it. I take a sparkling white towel and press it on the cleanser, and attempt to maintain away from rubbing the spot too a lot. that many times receives the stain up, i have used it for both urine and diarrhea. If there remains a smell, i'm getting the puppy hair variety of arm & hammer carpet powder. I sprinkle it on the carpet and enable it sit down for some hours with the door close. Then it is only a remember of vacuuming thoroughly. one among my dogs has a susceptible urinary sphincter, so she has some injuries a month. I finally end up spot cleansing some situations a month and doing the carpet powder each and every few months. sturdy success!

Any universal carpet cleaner should work fine. But if you continuously are having troubles with smell and the stains, then inquire to your vet about what you should use.
Happy Cleaning!

You will always have a dog smell if you have a dog. The best way to keep a house clean and odor free of dog bacteria is to give up the dog and purchase a new rug.
Your family and your nose will thank you.
Win-win

w/e u do, DO NOT USE AMONIA!!!!!!! amonia is contained in dog pee and that will only make the dog pee there again. wut i do to remove the stain is rent a rug doctor and clean the carpet.
heres a way 2 prevent the dog from going there again (and any other spot.) its a classic. guarenteed to work!!!! put ur dogs food bowl on a paper plate and punch holes around the edges. the dog will smell the pee spot and stop going there bcuz it will not pee where it eats.
also, only make sum areas allowed to dog bcuz it will not pee in its living space.

I would use Nature's Mirale or Simple Solution, they both work wonderfully. They are available at both Petco and Petsmart and probably other pet supply stores as well.
