My favorite breed of dog is the American Pit Bull. I own 13 right now. They have been the best breed I have every owned. They are great with my children and gradchildren. And a added bonus I don't every have to lock my doors when I leave! I have 3 of them that stay in my home. They have gotten a bad rap lately because of the few who think it is "cool" to fight them. But they are really a great breed to have. I even have one that likes to swim.

Mutts. I've loved all my dogs, purebred and mutts. They have all been quite smart and want to please. I'm sure there are exceptions to the rule, but I truly think mutts get the best of whatever breeds they are. My current mutt looks like Benji. My other mutt looked like a small Lab. They come in all shapes and sizes. They're wonderful.

my personal favorite is the st. Bernard. i don't like the little ones because you have to be so careful not to hurt them when you are rough housing. and you don' have to worry as much that another animal will look at it and think "dinner" there is a reason the little dogs are called "snack dogs"

Pitbulls. They can be excellent dogs with the right owners. I love my 2 pitties and they r a part of the family
