What to do when my dog is attacked by two large dogs off their leads

I had a yellow Lab puppy that I have had from 3 weeks old. Yesterday, I took him to the Vet for his well puppy visit and now he is dead.

My first chihuahua died two months ago, so we got another one about 4 weeks ago so people wouldn't feel bad...now the dog we have now is dying from parvo...I'm depressed.

I'm getting a gerbil today. Is there any tips, info, something you can give me about gerbils. I am getting one at PetCo, yesterday I looked and there were tons. I just want to know how to pick out a good one, how long they live, stuff like that. Thanks!

So many times people ask questions here to which the answer is to take their pet to a vet as soon as they can, if not immediately.

A pet is a huge responsibility and it can be costly. Spaying or neutering is a must, annual check ups are a must and if a pet is ill it needs to see a vet just like you would take a child to a doctor if he was ill.

If you can't afford basic care then you shouldn't have a pet.

Everytime someone tries to pet my cat's stomach, she thinks they're playing. So at first she just paws at them, and then randomly she starts scratching (claws out) and biting them, and usually she leaves marks! Is there anyway to teach her not to do that?
