Carry a heavy cane and a can of mace, so you can help your dog fight them off. And try not to walk in areas where you know that dogs are allowed to run loose. And call the animal control officers and or the police. People who allow their dogs to run loose and menace innocent people should be charged with a felony and pay a whopping fine!

You may want to consider carrying pepper spray. This will protect you are your dog and will no permanently harm the other dogs.

I would report the owners to the police or humane society. Almost every town and city has some kind of leash law that says your dogs must be on the leash or under control at all times.

DO NOT LET IRRESPONSIBLE OWNERS GET AWAY WITH THIS.

It is terrible if your dog gets bit by one of these dogs but its much worse if some small child gets mauled or killed by one.

First, contact the person who the dogs belong to. Next, call animal control. I don't care if a dog is on a leash or not, they should never attack anyone or anything. Is your dog okay? Was your dog on a leash or in your yard?

You did not give us much information to work with, but I would definitely call animal control immediately and every time I saw them running free like that. Have all the neighbors call too. It might take a while, but animal control will put a stop to it. I think they give them warnings and then citations. Most of these people get the hint when they have to start paying for these citations. It's just sad not to feel safe while walking our best friends. Good luck to you and be safe

Call animal Control or the dog pound. Take your dog indoors for the mean time. If those two dogs attack you, you can sew someone.

First talk to the owners. If that does not bring results, call AC.

I carry pepper spray. You also could carry a bat.

I HATE irresponsible owners who let their dogs roam.
