Epilepsy is the most common cause. The vet can give you anti-seizure meds that are usually very effective.

Seizures can have many causes. They can result from ingesting a toxic substance, a head injury, brain tumor and sometimes they are just caused by epilepsy. Some breeds are more prone to epilepsy than others.
Seizures can be fatal, but there are drugs that can control them, sometimes eliminating them completely or at least the seizures will come less frequently. These drugs are prescription drugs and they must come from a vet and they must be given daily to work properly.
Take your dog to the vet because he can determine the cause and give you a diagnoses.

If your dog hasn't been exposed to rat/mouse poison, then your looking at epilepsy. My dog is epileptic.
You need to keep track of the seizures, time then, watch what your pet does (urinating, deficating, etc...) and call your vet with that info. They will get a history started to see if there's a pattern, If there is, they will start on meds like potassium bromide & phenobarbital. My dog takes those every morning & night , has for 8yrs now.
My other though is, how old is the dog, this could be from age, this would be worse & your vet would need to see him.

Have you bring it to the vet, please immediately do so if you have not!
The precise causes of some seizures ("fits") is unknown, or may be genetic and others are known to occur for a number of reasons. These include anatomical defects of the brain, infections such as distemper and rabies, brain cancer or trauma, severe liver and kidney disorders, and blood-chemistry abnormalities. Puppies suffering from seizures are most likely to have developmental problems, or to be suffering from infections; cancer-related seizures are more common in older dogs.

Epilipsy. Poisioning. Ever thought maybe the dog should see a vet?????????????????? There is no home remedy for seizures!!!!!!!! But brain damage can result from uncontrolled seizures!!! They fry the brain!!! Either find the cause, treat the condition, or put the dog to sleep!!!!!

If you are wasting time asking this question rather than going to the vet, you should be ashamed of yourself!

get her to the vet immediately, she may have eaten something that has poisoned her.
After you've seen the vet, come back and let us all know what is going on, ok?
