Did you notice something irregular in their behavior before dieing? like strange swimming, or fatigue, or other external sign?
If not, there is something with the water you should change it quickly and treat it afterwards.

Unfortunately, gold fish don't have a very long lifespan in the water - particularly when one dies. The best thing you can do is replace the fish - they are cheap. Make sure you change the water and find out from the pet shop what efforts you can make to help ensure a longer life span for your sister's fish. Good luck

if she is old enough to hear this... tell her that not all animals live forever. and if you save up your money, you can buy you some new fish. but if shes not old enough and shes crying about it, tell her that the fish is just taking a really long nap for a while. and did the bug eyed fish, did his eye pop? cuz if so, thats why they die! so just tell her that, and the regular goldfish, im not really sure why that would die.

take a sample of the water to a fish store. Most will test it free of charge and point you in the right direction if there is a problem.

first off make sure they are fish that git along together and second if they do you should check your ph levels and alkalinity levels you can get a tester kit at wal mart cheap for like 3 bucks and if any levels are high or to low it will kill your fish, if they are high or to low you need to adjust them which the test kit will tell you what you need to do ....this happened to me

Just get more fish, really they don't live that long as it is.

did you recently change the water? if so there might be something wrong with the water you put in it. you can dump the water out and put in bottled water, that should work.
