My 2 year old Great Dane/Pit Bull male is acting strange. Two days ago he just stopped eating and has been laying around the house. He whines whenever someone goes near him, but he has no visible signs of being hurt. Anyone have any ideas

The vet said not to allow her to "free run" for at least 10-14 days. Sometimes though she gets all crazy in the house and runs around like crazy. She's a golden retriever (6 months) and has so much energy.

I was cleaning was aquarium this morning, and put my 2 small harlequins in a cup on my desk while I let the filter run. I just checked the cup, and they are no where in sight! It wasn't even that full, but I'm afraid they've jumped and are dried somewhere in my room. The problem is, I still can't find them!!

My Golden Retriever just won't stay off the couch right now because one of the cats is up on the back of it and the dog wants to play with her. Do you think dogs actually "think" that this is mean to have separate rules for her and the cats?

Recently was given an adorable insane black kitten. Eyes were a great blue color but they have since turned "Black Cat Green". She is a fine edition to the family that includes a full grown black cat, a shepard/lab mix dog and a mini poodle dog.
The cat is 3 months old and is the size of the miniature poodle. I know she is going to be a BIG kitty. My question is when do cats stop growing?

My Albino Catfish is going through, what Pet-Smart calls, pop-eye. Does any one know of anything else rather than pop-eye powder we can do to help it. Its eyes are bulging, head is red, swimming up-side down. Pet-Smart also says it can spread to other fish. We took it out of to a different container. Pet-Smart also said to give him air with a bubbler.

*sigh* I just walked my dog. I haven't walked him in a lil' while. It's been raining here literally every day for 2 weeks. When I was out walking him, he would pay attention to EVERYTHING but me.... I even did the "tap him with your foot to redirect him" thing like Cesar does (Dog Whisperer) but it had no affect whatsoever. So I tapped him harder and harder, and each time, he didn't even flinch or blink or anything. I tried "biting" him on the neck (softlyish) even, and that didn't work either. I even tried making him look at me and he pulled his face away as hard as he could. Geez, what's wrong with this dog?! He knows sit, wait, and come very well inside the house. And I was gonna try to train him outside, but I'm afraid he won't pay attantion to me at all. I tried telling him to sit several times while I was walking him too, and he didn't do it b/c he was focused on everything else. -_- So, can anyone tell me how I can get this attention without addicting him to treats or toys?

My labrador (sage) pee's inside the house infront of the tv! all the time... even if he's outside playing he would go inside just to peeeeeeeeeeeee..... i kow it has become his habit and the spot where he pee's but how can i train him to do his business outside in a simple way?

*worried because my dog has been sick*. i took her to the vet and she said she had high liver enzymes and probaly ate something she shouldnt. Well she hasnt ate hardly anything in the past 5 days and her energy level is real low. I have had a dog with parvo before im worried maybe she might have it due to her not eating and loss of energy. She hasnt vomitted since i took her to the vet, and no diarrhea, shes just lethargic and wont eat :(

I know of a breeder who, I would say has a professional puppy mill business going on. SHe follows the rules, of feeding, and sheltering the dog. The only problem is the dogs are not socialized. The puppies that are born are beyond crazy. Paranoid about anything, even a bit of wind I know this only cause I was stupid enough to buy the firstt puppy I see. Now she is not the only dog that is the problem, there is lot of more dogs from the same breeder that are in this situation. So if anyone can help me, I would appreciate it. These dogs are neglected, and I feel very sorry for them. Please don't lecture me about how I should of researched more.

Can dogs have pink eye? My 2 female dogs fought a couple of days ago. They have been raised together since birth. It was unusual for them to be fighting. I asked some of the people at the hospital I volunteer at about that strange fight. They all said that one of my dogs was in heat. The fight was very severe. There was blood. My mom said they fought at night when I was asleep. The dog that was not in heat was bleeding and there was gel-like stuff around her eyes. Her wound healed, so I thought everything was going to be ok, but today I noticed green crusty stuff around her eyes. I think it might be pink eye, because it is red around her pupils. I will take her to the vet soon, but what should I do iin the meantime. Is there a medication for this? I am soo scared. Please help!!!!

She's a few months old, and I live in a suburban area. I don't want to keep her cooped up inside all her life, but I don't want her freaking out and getting run over as soon as I let her outside. Should I wait until she's older? She's still more than a little hyperactive. Thanks!

My dog has a big problem with biting people. He is very grumpy and if you go near him or touch him when he doesn't want to be, he will snap or bite you. He is only 2 years old, and we have trained him not to bite. I'am just worried that he might bite a child that tries to pet him. Nothing is working!! Any suggestions??

I took my cat to the vet because she was breathing hard and not eating or drinking water. And I was concerned because she hadn't gone to the bathroom. He said her bladder was full he was able to get some pee to come out but very little, they are doing an x-ray right now and a blood test. Can anyone tell me what it could be and if its treatable? I hope it's nothing to serious but I'm very concerned.
