I know of a breeder who, I would say has a professional puppy mill business going on. SHe follows the rules, of feeding, and sheltering the dog. The only problem is the dogs are not socialized. The puppies that are born are beyond crazy. Paranoid about anything, even a bit of wind I know this only cause I was stupid enough to buy the firstt puppy I see. Now she is not the only dog that is the problem, there is lot of more dogs from the same breeder that are in this situation. So if anyone can help me, I would appreciate it. These dogs are neglected, and I feel very sorry for them. Please don't lecture me about how I should of researched more.

There is not much the AKC can do. You can call them, but I doubt you will get anywhere. The ASPCA or other humane society may be able to help, but according to the law, socialization MAY not be neglect in some eyes. It is sad to say. A lot of people think that if the basic care is given and all the proper paperwork is in order, the case is closed.
But keep trying!!! There has to be someone that can help!!!

Call your local animal shelter - where I used to work - the police had to be called first (if you are complaining about abuse). The police would check it out, and if there was cuase to pull the animals (improper shelter, not being fed, etc.) then the shelter came in.

Problem is - most puppy mill owners follow all the bare minimum rules - check out the laws in your area - but there will probably not be a law about socializing puppies - though I agree with you that it is abuse.

Good luck, it can be hard to bust up puppy mills. Check the HSUS (humane society of the united states) website too for more info

Do you have more proof about neglect? To me this does not sound like neglect, unless you have more information about her. As long as the dogs are well cared for I would say myob.

I don't take my puppies out to socialize much until after they have had their second round of shots, to be on the safe side. I do take them out a little, but it is very limited. My breeds puppies are generally beyond crazy and a they tend to have weird fears at times. Some breeds are just like that. Socialization is often done when the new owners take them at 8-9 weeks.

Sorry, this doesn't sound like its a case of anything but you thinking she should do things like YOU think she should. And that is NOT a reason to do something as horribly nasty as to report her.

she should probably take them out to the park or let people come out and play with the pups.or you can call the humane society and have them do an investigation. some people don't want to get that involved with the pups because they might develop emotional attachments. the dog is yours you have a lot to do with the pup being anti -social
