This happens when I pet any part of her....not just her head.....

A dog's normal temperature is 101 degrees -102 degrees. Since a human's normal temperature is 98.6, your dog would just feel warmer to you.

Although, if your dog gets extremely exited when you pet him, his temperature might rise slightly above normal.
