I once brought an archer fish and the seller adviced me that the fish is being kept in freshwater.
I got it home (i can't remeber how long) but it didnt live long.
Is he right? are there Archer fish that can be kept in freshwater?

I know its off topic but I know there are people here who will speak da truth. Why do some people insist on saying bad things about others on this site. Like calling people nigggers thats mean. Why can't people just ask normal questions. Why does everybody have to be racist. Why do people ignore it when people say mean things? Why don't people report? Why don't people care? I have three kittens who are fully weaned. One kitten I had to hand-raise from a day old. She didnt wean until last week so I went through about 4 cans of formula, the big cans lol Anyhow all the kittens beg for milk when I open my fridge but I dont give them cows milk because of the lactose. I was wondering, is it safe to give milk that is made for lactose intolerent people? If I had a great deal of money I would continue to give them formula to drink just because they like it but its 20 bucks a can. My kitties are fine with water and eat kitten food, I was just thinking since they like milk so much Id like to give them something once in a while .Just looking for opinions.

I just adopted a 3 year old male Golden Retriever and he has been fixed but he keeps humping as if he is a horney dog. I am being serious and wonder why he continues doing this? I just picked him up today and he is WAY underweight and I can feel his bones such as his shoulders and ribs very much so. I will take him to vet but I am wondering if there is any vet techs or assistants that can maybe answer this. Please no ignorant answers and only answer this if you really have an idea in why he is behaving this way. He is an extremely friendly and loving dog and I am being sincere to give him a wonderful home. Thank You All!!! :)

I have just had the tank for 2 weeks now, so I am still a newbie at this! The water in the tank is beginning to get low...there are only 2 goldfish in the tank...can I add a cup or two of water and this be okay??? I know that I have to add the stuff to get rid of the chlorine from the water, but how much do you add when you are just adding a small amount of water? My tank is still spotless, so I don't want to replace all of the water. THANK YOU!

I was tempted to take advantage of the snake's inopportune situation by picking it up and moving it out of the area. I chickened out because I thought it may be possible for the snake to spit out its prey and still pose a threat ... seems doubtful, but does anyone know for sure?

I've had it suggested to use burnt motor oil and rub it onto the skin and coat. This sounds odd to me but several people have told me it works. And someone said something about sulfur. Any comments?
