It is best to make your own, but do not use wood. Wood will allow red dragon mites to breed and endanger your lizards health. Stay away from fish tanks. There is no air movement. Go to your local Menards,or Home Depot and get plastic web mesh. You will need a frame of course will need to be out of wood 2x2's work good. The same can be done for the door, but remember the wood will have to be treated when the iguana is out of the cage. A light bleach solution will take care of this. Visit Mellisa Kaplan's web site for more information. Had excellent success following her advice.

If it were me I would go to my local farm supply and buy a rabbit cage or improvise a cage out of the several types of cage wire that is for sale in farm supply stores. The iguanas isn't going to try to break through the wire. Just make sure it is a size small enough that he cannot squeeze through one of the holes.

just make sure to keep an eye on your iguana if you have wire on the outside or mesh. my iguana was bad for rubbing his nose along the cage whilst looking for a way out or whatever it is he was attempting. and would cut his nose.
i had to take antibacterial cream to his nose(non-toxic kind) since he would like his nose when i would put it on.
it worked very well and soon he had a healed nosey again. :)

you'll have a VERY hard time finding decent cages for an adult iguana, not without paying waaaay too much anyway. Easier to build one.
