A hamster, leave a big bowl of food, check the water every few days, and put a wheel in there, your good to go. Litter requires changing every week.

well since you dont have too much time and you insist on having a pet.
you need something that wont die if you dont feed it for a few days.
any reptile
any insect
any one of them can go a week without food or water. need very little care

If you have little time, you should not have a pet. Enough said. Please do not follow the advice about a hamster which is mentioned above. Trust me, they need a lot of attention to be happy. Most animals do. Just wait until you can take care of one, please!

a cat. They are wonderful and clean creatures. All you;ll have to do is buy food and litter. They don't need to be cleaned, they do it themselves. And they are good and , lovable companions.
