My blue opaline (sp?) gourami seems to think he is a bass. He does this belly flop kind of jump like largemouth bass do and splashes water out of the tank. Noone believes he splashes like that but when he thinks he's about to be fed or gets spooked if I walk by too quickly then he jumps.

If so, does she follow you around like a dog and cry when you leave her all alone while you take a shower? Is she/he extremely talkative and have a extensive vocabulary?

This guy told me his wife breeds Ragdolls and that the cat I adopted was a Ragdoll. I read up on the breed and I think if she is related she would more likely be a Ragamuffin because she is calico colored. Wondering if anyone else has such a cat and what are they like?

Mine is so loving almost to a point of being aggravating at times. Buts she's also cool because she likes everyone she meets.

I saw one tonight and now I'm scared as hell. I am curled up in a chair with my feet in it, not touching the floor. (read my previous question about snakes) I don't ever want to see one again. I think I have snakeaphobia.

My wife and I have just hit rock bottom and I think it's finally over. She and her meathead brother basically stole my dog tonight, and he threatened me if I tried to take it back. What do I do? I have the original papers I got when I got the dog. This dog is my life, please help me.

I'm moving out of my parents' house and am considering getting a cat. the only problem is that my father is allergic to feline dander. are there any breeds of cat that are good for allergie sufferers or is there any way to reduce the cat dander in my house?

Now that my 2 month old kitten has worms (look like white rice) how do I protect my other kitten and dogs from getting it if they haven't already?

I cleaned the house floor with Clorox germ killer...

Threw out all the kitten food, water and litter....

Put a flea collar on the infected kitten (is this ok even though instruction says kitten has to be at least 3 months old?)....

Put flea collars on my dogs....

What else must I do to try and protect my other pets? Do I have to make sure they don't share the same food, water and litter? If they do they get infected?

And how do I know if I got worms from him too? He scratched me few days ago will that pass along the worms? How do I get rid of it if I have it????????????

I will be bringing my new boxer pup home soon and have no name yet. He is a fawn boxer and he is gonna be big! I have a brindle boxer named Zoey already. Some possibilities I have been considering are below. List is endless please help!! Any new ideas lets hear them....smile.

I have had a six week old Chihuahua since yesterday. She has started eating soaked kibble (puppy Pedigree). She has also started to be VERY active; today she started running like crazy!

My concern is: She is sleeping in my room in a medium-large cardboard box. She sleeps for about 3 hours then she starts crying. This is her telling me that she has to go to the bathroom. At night she does this too; she did it at midnight and around three in the morning. Should I let her out of the box in the wee hours of the night so she can go pee and poo, or should I just go to sleep and clean her messy blankets (assuming she goes) in the morning??
