Good things:

Cats-cuddly,quiet,kind,sweet,sensitive,easily potty trained at a young age, when fully grown doesn't need as much attention, can tech it tricks,i think they like outside?

Dogs-loyal,learns tricks,love attention,love playing,they like playing outside

Bad things:

Cats-some will pee on the walls, furniture, ect.sometimes are too lazy for their own good, might not get along well with other cats, tear up curtains

Dogs-pee and crap on furniture,slobbery,chew/eat shoes,if they eat chocolate it's game over for them.Chocolate has something that makes a dog eat until it's stomach explodes from over eating because the chocolate has something that makes the dogs not realize it's full

WARNING!!!!
SOME CATS AND DOGS(mostly some cats)WILL BE EVIL AND GROWL/HISS AT YOU AND HATE YOU!!!

Ever see a cat save someone's life when their owner is drowning? No! They'd probably sit there looking stupid and meowing. Dogs are way better. They're highly intelligent, and would guard your life. Cats think they're better than you, and are too independent and stay gone outside all day to enjoy. I have 5 dogs.

I would suggest getting a cat that thinks he is a dog, this solves the maintenance problems of dogs and isolation problems of cats. A good breed are ragdolls (I have one myself). However, I still like dogs (just not little ratty dogs)

cats. They're quiet. They are easier to train. They are clean and don't smell. A mean cat is always easier to deal with and not deadly as a mean dog. Cat's don't cause as much property damage as a dog does.

Cats are definitely lower maintenance but do like to keep to themselves. It depends on how much involvement you want. If you want an animal that will play with you and such, a dog is more the way to go, but with bigger responsibilities. Like you can't go away for to long, because you have to let it out, etc.

Cats...they're more human than dogs are. You can train cats just as easily as you can train dogs (I've watched my boyfriend and his dad train not one, but 20 of them!) and they're cleaner than dogs. They're also smarter (for the most part) and aren't so attention-demanding. I would like dogs more, but I'm little and big hyper dogs hurt me.

I adore cats but love all animals, I love cats better though I have owned them for more than 17 years, I can't live without them I need to own some. They just compleat me and my life.

Cats are more independent...they don't need to be walked, are fine alone, and arent constantly begging for attention. Therefore i think a cat, however i have busy circumstances.
