After several incidents of catching neighbors doing mean things to my cat, including throwing firecrackers at him, I want to start keeping my cat indoors full time to protect him. However, he is used to being an outdoor cat and is very unhappy being kept inside. He cries at the door and sits in the window yowling. He is getting very agitated. He is neutered but still loves to go outdoors. I don't want to make him feel like a prisoner, but I have sadists for neighbors. How can I help my cat adjust to living indoors? What are some things I can do to help him not be so bored and unhappy inside?

My Shihtzus go crazy when they find deer poop. It's like a chocolate cake to them. I had the 5 week old shihzu puppies out in the yard today and they found the deer poop also and ate it! What gives?

Hi there i bought a hamster 4 weeks ago and she was fine i handled her fine bought her a lovely big cage gave her treats and nice toys but, in the last couple of days she has just turned weird she has bit both me and my boyfriend and drew blood for no reason and started to push all the sawdust into one corner of the cage which i havent seen her do before. we have handled her loads and she was quite friendly but now i am scared to take her out and put her in her excercise ball incase she bites again is there any reason for this weird behaviour also she has been moving around in a cirle near the sawdust a lot and not really using the rest of the cage any help would be much appriciated as i think she must of gone mad!

We purposefully do not feed the dog first thing in the morning, but she still insists on waking up early. I'd like to sleep in at least on the occasional weekend day, but the dog won't let me. She keeps shuffling around, putting her paws on the bed, or trying to nudge my face. Has anyone managed to train their dog to sleep in later?
