Now, I have to ask this because far too often I see people say/write things about how veterinarians are trying to rob them for money, and overcharge them for animal care.

Personally, I'm a pre-veterinary major and my choosing to get into this field, had absolutely nothing to do with money. I want to help animals, to the best of my ability. I also realize that pricing is mostly if not partially funded towards medical needs for the hospital/clinic itself.

Your opinions, thoughts, views on the matter?

my young staffie has mites and a local vet has been treating her for this, they tell me it is a kind of mange and are charging me a lot to bath her once a week, does any one know if i could be doing these baths at home my self and if so what do i need to bath her with as my vet seems more interested in taking my money then giving me advise!

i have a rottevieler dog, he is huge black and handsome. my problem is that he seems to be greying and is losing the shine on his coat. how do i restore his colour and glow. i do add cooking oil to his meals.
