I have M.E. so I'm not getting out much. I really miss having a pet. I don't have any friends who have any pets, and my parents don't want to commit to buying a pet as I'm not able to look after it very much - in terms of cleaning out or walking. I really want a little companion who will give me unconditional love. I can't talk alot, and on a recent visit to a local animal centre, i had the best time just sitting and feeding a rabbit daisies. sounds silly, but just wondering if theres such a thing as having a pet to come visit me for a few hours a week? I just find their company really therapeutic.

I have two kittens and I want to train them to use the bathroom instead of floor. The flat I've rented lately doesn't have a balcony so I can't use a soil box. Is it possible?

This usually happens after I clean the tank. Are they trying to get extra oxygen or something? They all stay up the top, however one has decided to stay down the bottom of the tank - this one has been looking sick for the past couple of weeks and seems to "rest" at the bottom most of the time... Any help on this please - very unusual that they (5 goldfish in this large tank) are all congregating up the top but look healthy.

and we have been to different vets and I have literally spent approx. $1,000 or more with no answers/cures. I have changed her diet, etc. I have two cats. The one I am speaking of is approx. 7 years old, spayed female. She is a tortious shell color. She is long haired. But this is not hair balls, it is food and or dark orange/red fluid. She has been x-rayed, etc. She has strange behavior as well. She will balance on the edge of a chair for hours, and keep falling off and then get back on. She is high strung while my other cat is opposite. Any suggestion would help. It is almost a projectile vomiting at time. Thanks!!

I am doing an experiment involving crickets to determine whether or not diet affects a cricket's chirping. I am planning on giving these corresponding combinations of cricket diet:
- High protein and high carbohydrate
- Low protein and low carbohydrate
- High protein and low carbohydrate
- High carbohydrate and low protein.

Would you know of foods that fall under those categories so that i could feed them to my crickets?

Also, would you be able to suggest a small cage/container that i could use to keep just one cricket? (i will be separating the male crickets in order to be able to differentiate their sound and so i will be needing at least 15 suitable cricket cages/containers)

Thank you for your help in advance!

First I have a question about crate training. I have closed off an area in my house already for the dog to go potty, eat, play, and sleep. So far my 3 month old pomchi pup has been doing really good with the litter box, in this closed area. My pup can go to the bathroom on his own = D. but if he has access to another room he will go potty there = ( How can I get him to keep going potty in the litter box, without closing him off from other rooms????

Second Question is How can I get my dog to stop jumping on peoples legs, and to stop biting hands?

Thanks!

HE is about 3 yrs old now and has always found a sock to chew up. Most often it's my youngest (7) daughter's socks and done this... ruins many, many socks. My daughter isn't menstruating. He's done this for a couple years now. If he can't find one of her's, he'll find another.. like mine! (Dad's!) I really consider it somewhat comical, but what's worse is when he places the sock half-in and half-out of his auto-feeding WATER... sucks it all out and onto the floor. WHAT IS HAPPENING? Rescued as a kitten. Black cat, neutered, fronts declawed, indoor mostly but enjoys going outside briefly/freely while I'm home, fiesty when playing. Should I dare for a companion even though he's pretty territorial?

Where are some of the "hot spots" for sturgeon from standing on the banks? Are their any ways to spot out a good hand out spot for sturgeon?

Some people say that crossing dog breeds is bad and crosses have a higher chance to end up in shelters. This is ridiculous because crossing breeds is actually GOOD for the puppies. It makes healthier dogs because of something called "hybrid vigor". And why would a cross have a higher chance ending up in a shelter? That makes no sense at all. Some people say a mongrel's puppy's adult temperment is "unknown", but that is baloney. The vast majority of all dogs (mongrel or not) have good temperments if raised properly, and it has nothing to do with whether it's a mongrel or not. I don't see anything wrong at all with crossing dog breeds, and it's actually beneficial to the puppies.

Forget about the confirmation shows and stuff, cause that stuff is just nonsense anyways.

We have a cat that stays outside. For the past 2 nights a opossum has come and either eaten her food or drink her water. We have started to pick up her food but she needs her water. How can I get rid of this animal and not have my cat in danger?
