I'm not sure if you mean you want them to use a litter box or if you want them to use a toilet. Either can be accomplished. The litter box you just fill and show the cats where it is. They usually do the rest. The toilet training is a little different. Go to a pet supply store. The make a litter pan that fits over a toilet that cats will use. It is in stages and you keep making it smaller and smaller till you can remove it and the cat just uses the toilet.

Yes, it's true they can be trained, and it DOES take a lot of patience, and long time for them to get used to it. There is that training seat, too, but you HAVE to start with the litter box so you can transfer the litter to the seat, and eventually take that away so they think the toilet IS the litter box. At least that's how I had it explained to me. They other way was showing them that their feces go into the toilet, not the litter box, by removing it and showing them where to put it. The whole process is very unnatural to the cat, which is why it takes so long to train them to do it. It goes against their natural instincts to bury their "business." I have heard that Siamese cats are easier to train for this one thing, but they don't learn it in a snap, either. One thing to consider, though. Some of your human guests may not be thrilled with sharing your commode with your pets, so if you are a considerate host, you will wipe down that seat after the cats use it with a sanitary wipe!

There is a way, and it takes quite a bit of time and patience. You have to cut a box in the shape of the toilet so it can hang under the seat, you fill it with kitty litter and every day you take some out until there is none left and then you take out the box and they should know to use it. I can't guarantee this works though. But I read it in The Cat Catalogue. See if your library has one. There are even diagrams to show you how to do it.

You might not believe it, but it IS possible to teach your cat to use the toilet. It WOULD come as an inconveience to YOU though. All you have to do is set the litter box on your toilet. After at least 2 weeks, try taking the litter box COMPLETELY away; wher it is immpossible for your cat to smell it anywhere. If they don't use the toilet, try it again for another two weeks. Keep doing this till your cat begins to use the toilet. But remember, a male cat will STILL spray it's territory if it isn't fixed.

Well this is first of all not going to be easy.If you want to train them to use the bathroom by themselves,it is possible but you have to start training them from now..as they are small. This is a good advantage for you.Bcoz i also had two cats and 6 kittens. And i use to train them from small to use the bathroom and also eat in the same place where the food is kept for them, bcoz they used to take it away and eat other places spoiling the whole area. Now they are doing really well, but it took me really a lot of training to do for them, (YEARS).So you can but it needs HARD WORK and start working from today...

I saw a thing on TV about this. You actually can. There's a special seat you buy that sits over the bowl and it has instructions on how to train your cat. Apparently after a time they will just squat over the edge of the bowl without the seat.
Sorry not sure what it was called. Maybe do a google hunt.
Good luck!

yes, you can teach your cat to use the toilet, I've see it done. I don't know exactly how it's done, so you will have to do some research and start training them to do it as soon as possible, don't wait until they start getting older.

yes u can, but you have to do the needful for atlest 2 weeks, that is you have to take the cats excreta & keep it in your bathroom, everyday, they are very sensetive in smelling, they will get the smell of their excreta in the bathroom & after 2 weeks or so they will go automatically to thebathroom themselves.
this is told to me by a doctor, it worked with my cat & it should also work with your cat.
Best of luck!!
