The largest fish in the ocean is a Whale Shark. A Whale Shark is a fish, and not a mammal. The Whale Shark is a true shark, which is a fish, even though it's name might suggest otherwise, it's not a whale, which would be a mammal.

Whales and squids aren't fish, the manta ray and whale shark aren't too big really, but the giant oilrigswallowing, bluewhalesucking whalesharkmunching Black Belt-Blue Fin Tuna would scare anything out of the water!
