I think they call that a Yorkie. Yorkshire Terrier.

There are actually 2 breeds of dog that look like this, it would be hard to determine which it is by just the head. It could either be a Yorkshire terrier or a Silky Terrier.

Well looks like a yorkie to moi.. But could be a silkie terrier, but pretty sure its a yorkie with an ugly hair cut..

I think it's a Yorkshire terrier. The same kind Jack Nicholson threw down the laundry chute in "As Good As It Gets".

CORRECTION:

Got a email from fripple2005. I was corrected.
Subject: Yorkshire terrier

Message: fraid to tell you this...but the dog thrown down the laundry chute in "as good as it gets" was a Brussels Griffin terrier...not a Yorkshire terrier...FYI

He's a veterinarian, so I think he knows what he's talking about.
Sorry for the mis info.

It's a United States sissy dog, although it probably is wishing that it could get out on some green grass under a blue sky where the wind is blowing and chase a cat. . .well, a small one, anyway!

Its a silky terrier.

Silkies were developed from mixing the Australian terrier with the Yorkie.. the major difference from that view is the length of its nose, and the stop at its brow.
