OK some had a ? like this a few weeks ago almost i bought my cousins little girls some about 4 months ago and they are still alive and swimming they are more of a first time pet for a little child because their really is not much to them , they live as long as you take good care of them i mean my cousins kids are 4-6 and theirs are still alive yea not as Manny as they started of with they don't live long but do have babies enough to keep your tank going.

I think toyr-us sells them we found ares at a local flea market it was the kit and they say they have a web sight google and find out.

if you do like the instructions say they live long to me they look like swimming feathers they can be kinda neat to watch but they do get bored with them my cousins kids like it just when a new one pops up they named after my dogs and my ferrets when one dies their like oh but look a baby LOL

they keep theirs near a window and really don't even feed them that much i think the small one once gave it a tiny tiny cracker crumb it was funny.

any way sorry but i would not recommend spending a whole lot of money but if you can find them really cheap it fun just to try it.

Sea Monkeys make the best pets!
I have raised sea monkeys all my life and I think they are great. I have a family of four right now. Mrs. Mookle , Mr. Mookle and their two daughters Esther and Martha. They are my best friends. They always know just how to cheer me up when I am feeling blue. They float around so peacefully. I wish I were a sea monkey, too.

"Sea-Monkeys" are just krill. They look like dots about the size of the period at the end of this sentence - MAYBE a tiny bit bigger. Despite those stupid ads for them, they are only bugs (sort of). They will not recognise you, they will not love you, and they will die very quickly. They're great fish food. I'd definately think about getting something else.

They're good for about 2 weeks, then they die.
You could buy the kits at a toy store.

they don't look anything like their cartoon pictures that's for sure...

they're krill shrimp - so if you are into insects as pets then I guess they're ok...
