my young staffie pup is well behaved apart from when guests come to my house she jumps up and nips at them other wise she is a well trained dog but every thing i have done to try to stop this has failed any ideas?

My fish tank is too warm despite the heater being set below the required temperature due to the hot weather. Is there a way I can keep it cool? Would a fan blowing cool air over the tank help during hot weather spells?

Our 11 year old dog passed away last week from late stages of liver cancer. 5 days prior she was given a clean bill of health after her 5 minute annual. If bloodwork had been done, this would have been detected, but I can't get a straight answer if this should have been done.

I have an Oscar/chillid? fish, and we just bought him a new 40 galon tank. I know know nothing about the type of fish and the pet store guy told me that a 20 gallon tank would be good enough. ( yea right!)
The fish out grew it & started to smash his face against the tank.(He's a very angry fish)
Since we moved him to the new tank, I've noticed he's been been swimming around with his mouth open. (although he's much happier.I noticed a dent in his lip, and what look to be like little notches in his inner lip ( unless they are tiny teeth) but I dont think they have teeth. Is anythng wrong?

We keep algaecide for our swimming pool. Our duck has a small wading pool but will not swim in it when algae is present so we are constantly scrubbing it. Will a little bit of algaecide hurt her being she drinks it, and also our dogs drink out of the wading pool?

I have a 3 day old kitten i got yesterday. The mother abandoned it and as far as i know the rest in the litter died b/c no one caught it on time. i have been feeding it with a special bottle and kitten formula from the pet store. it's eyes are still shut and i have been rubbing its butt to make it go, which it has. its learned to meow now also and moving around. if you know any information about how much to feed it, and when and any other information i'd appreciate it. also when to take it to the vet and about how much $ it'd be. thank you!!

His eyes are tearing slightly, but not staining per say, because the hair around his eyes is dark. I used daily wipes (store bought) but it doesn't seem to be taking the odour away.
