It's probably not a good idea to change your dog's name. The dog already knows this name and is familiar with it, and changing it will only confuse him. Whatever you do, make sure you don't change it. Besides, maybe he doesn't want his name changed! What if your parents came up to you when you were four and were like: "yeah, we're getting bored of your name, we're gonna name you Larry now." Wouldn't you be mad that they changed the name that you had gotten used to? Don't change your dog's name!

I don't really think you should rename your dog at his point in time being 4 years old and all, but it's your decision really. The reason I kinda disagree is because right now he's probably so used to his name. But, my grandma just got a dog who's about 4 years old and her name was Ginger but she looked so much like this dog she had had when she was in her 20's or 30's who's name was Duke so we changed her name to Dukette. She's getting used to it though so why not change your dog's name.
Well, I can't really give you any names because when I name my pets I always look for their personality, actions, and looks. Then I find a name that suits them.

The balls have a maze interior and in case you utilize huge treats they adjust right into slightly wedged in and keep your canines entertained for an exceedingly long term on a similar time as they attempt to get out the cope with. this could mentally stimulate your canines via fact this is going to keep her entertained for a on a similar time as, as much as an hour if she has an prolonged concentration span. you need to however be certain that's a threat for the cope with to come again out in any different case after a on a similar time as your canines will become bored. After the cope with is out she would be in a place to in basic terms settle and circulate to sleep such as you mentioned. this could supply a sprint of sunlight hours entertainment. considering the fact which you care approximately her this lots i'm particular you will provide her adequate interest besides once you get homestead! additionally toys which make loud noises are very mentally stimulating. once you're nonetheless demanding however you could continually hire a canines walker or ask a chum to help out in the process the day.

No, don't change his name now! That is mean!! It will confuse the dog. If you HAVE to do it, though, at least pick some other name that sounds similar (like rhyming) to the current name, such as changing "Fred" to "Ed." Maybe you should get another dog if you are that bored.

Why not? Just make it the same # of sylablles as the current name as to not to confuse him. I always like naming my dogs after people I know. Give him a human name like William or Steve or Mitch.

To avoid confusing the dog (who ISN'T bored with his name) any new name you pick should rhyme with his original name. Better to leave his name alone and change your own.

I don' think you should change your dog's name, he'll be used to it. When we got our puppy, my husband wanted to call him Angus, but I kept calling him Agnes, so I decided to change it to Malachi, which I think is a really cool name for a dog, but we only changed it after a few days of having him.
