she has done that ever since she was a baby. she doesn't puff out her beard or hiss or anything, she just lays her head down and closes her eyes. i don't pet by her eyes or anything. i just pet her head and the sides of her head.
does she like it or is that a sign that i should stop?

I have a 10 day old chicken egg that is possibly fertile. I've been keeping warm in a homemade incubator. I've candled it and its pretty dark on the inside and has dark lines in it. But what I noticed is when I had it for five days is the yoke started to just stay still and there's some type of shadow and/or near it right now.

Is the shadow I'm seeing the embryo? if so is what I'm seeing normal for a 10 day old chicken egg?

i took my jack russle out the other day for a walk in the park and her came this cute little dog i think it was a pug but eney way the dog got to close to my dog and my dog (pudge) started barking and growling and the other dog got mad to and the got in a fight it was no bad figh tho . but pudge is like this to all other dogs he sees and he was raised with other dogs since he was little i dont know the prblem i see on TV and the other dogs are so playful with each other when they dont even know each other does eney here know hot to fix my dogs problem

I've read one way to tell chickens apart from birth is once they're feathers are dry you gently stretch out one of the wings. If two of the wing feathers are longer the its a female but if only one wing feather is longer then the others then its a male.

Is this true?

also are there any other ways I can find out the gender of a day old chick?

Please no jokes or wise cracks.

I have had my reptile since June 30th I think. She is an adult female Leopard Gecko. A man at Petco perswaded me into getting a juvenile, too. I tried to tell him I was looking for only adults to breed them, but I kindof fell inlove with "Elmo". So I got that baby Leopard Gecko. I now had one adult female and 1 unsexed baby.

Just about 5 days ago, I decided it wasn't right to get something I wasn't looking for. I took the baby back. Now I have 1 female and she hasn't eaten since I've gotten her. Almost a week! I know adults usually eat every other day, but this is insane! I tried to force-feed her: I put her inbetween my legs, then held her mouth open with 1 hand and put a mealworm in it. She ate 1, but today she refused it . . .

Are there any illnesses? I am getting a few more, because I think she is just depressed.

I need serious help regarding my dogs aggression with strangers?
She is a very loyal dogs and good with kids and other dogs. But with any stranger she becomes very aggressive.
I have to lock her up or hold her so she dont get loose and bite. She is fine with some of my family but she seems to target men more then women. How do i teach her to stop on command or to get this habit of aggression stoped?

My female St.Bernard is 16 month old. I thought dogs could only get pregnet when they are bleeding, so I was looking for a stud after she was done. I guess they liked each other. I`m not sure she is and I am taking her to a vet. No I`m not a expierenced breeder, but those had to start somewhere. I don`t need to hear how irresponsible I am. My dog and her "boyfriend" are both registered. I`m not interested in breeding showdogs, but I am true to the breed, meaning the good looks and exelent temprament. What can I expect? How badly is this going to hurt my dog? Should she get an abortion?

I've tried Duett Saddles, but his back got sore. And the treeless that I've seen are too expensive. My preference is to go bareback, but my butt is too bony:(. HELP!!

I am moving and have to find new homes for my two cats. Please don't write me about me keeping them and/or being a bad pet owner because I absolutely can not keep them and yes I hate it.
Anyway, I put an ad out on this Vegas website asking for people to please adopt one of the cats. I am offering a cat carrier and $30 Petco gift card with each cat adoption. The only thing is I want to make sure they are going to good homes without ulterior motives.
What questions would you ask people to ensure this?
