I had two dogs, a poodle and a sheltie. Our sheltie died. I want another dog so our poodle will have another dog to play with. But my mom said it has to be pretty small and it can't shed and it can't be mean because we have three kids.

I'm aware of why there are no male calicos (or at least no fertile ones) - it takes two X chromosones to make a calico. But I don't know why the majority of orange or orange tabby cats are male.

Anyone want to chime in?

She doesn't have papers, and when i recieved her from her past owner he estemated her age at 4 months. Upon her Vet appt. she told me the puppy, 1. still haveing her puppy teeth, 2. not having her adult hair, 3. ears not standing straight up, that she guessed her age at closer to 12 weeks!!! It is a possibility that she could be a mix breed, but her dominant features are definitely GSD. In what time frame will major changes start occoring?

up at the corner of a room or somewhere and you see nothing? If close to the floor, ok maybe a cat is hearing a mouse in a wall, but when it's higher and they just stare instead of trying to investigate and they won't stop... Creepy! LOL

I have an adult, male cat- I also have three children, 5 and under (and another due in 5 weeks). My cat was neutered and declawed when I got him at five months old. He is now one. He is a great cat, very loving and affectionate, however he does "attack" my husband and I, and our children (they seem to catch most of it). His intentions are to play, and he hasn't hurt anyone, but I'm afraid he could. Plus, it's just annoying. Occasionally he'll do it without any provokation. Anyone know why he does this? Can anyone tell me how to teach him a better way to play- especially with the children!

I have 6 Shih-Tzu's and walk them daily. I can't walk more than 2 at a time, because I'ts a challenge enough keeping 2 retractable leashes untangled when they cross & wrap around street poles.

I have come up with an invention: a multiple dog walking apparatus and would like to market it to PetSmart, PetCo, etc. If you have 2 or more dogs, would this product interrest you, would you buy it and why?

After you take them to the vet for that special operation, do they still have as much fun grooming themselves. Do they feel their trust was betrayed? Do they try and get at yours?

I had a hamster once, and it was sooo cute. One day I found a stray cat, and I thought my Hamster wanted to play with the cat (I was 9) so I put my hamster on the cats head and it ate it..
