up at the corner of a room or somewhere and you see nothing? If close to the floor, ok maybe a cat is hearing a mouse in a wall, but when it's higher and they just stare instead of trying to investigate and they won't stop... Creepy! LOL

Yeah, I'll be creeped out the day our dog starts barking at nothing in the house...at least when she's looking outside you know there must be something out there(creepier at night, coz you can't see what she's barking at). Not so much the staring, the barking yes.

I believe that my cats can see ghosts, or some other supernatural occurance. We used to live in a house that's supposedly built on or near Indian burial grounds, and my male cat would randomly stop what he was doing and stare at the ceiling or wall or something. I got used to it. Sometimes I'd sense something in the room at night, so I think he really WAS seeing something.

nope, my kittens stares into the space, starry eyes, first creeped me, but got used to it...now I'm staring with it! loved doing it!
