It will vary from dog to dog, clear you calender from 58 to 65 days after mating.
The mom will give you signs when she is close to giving birth. Usually about 14 hours prior to the babies, mom will become restless, up and down, digging in her bed, panting like she is hot then shaking like she is freezing, wanting to go pee pee often. When these signs start showing up, she is getting very close.
Most dogs love to have their tummy rubbed during the last phase, it also lets you see when the contractions begin. When they start, expect a baby within 1 to 4 hours. If no baby after 4 hours of contractions, go to the vet.
Fine out who is on call at your vets office the week you are expecting babies.
