Correct - no chocolate. Also no onions, cooked or raw, no raw garlic but cooked is ok. No macadamia nuts, raisins or grapes - all toxic.
They can, however, eat a wide variety of other foods such as meat & poultry, salmon, pasta, veggies such as peas, asparagus, carrots, broccoli, and fruits such as watermelon, apples, apricots, plums, bananas - just give small bits at first to make sure it doesn't upset their stomach.
I often make my dogs a couple of chicken fillets combined w/ pasta, broccoli, & carrots.
When you give processed foods such as chicken and turkey, make sure it is low sodium, they should not have more than a small amount of sodium. Also fats should be monitored such as giving low-fat cheese as treats.

Chicken bones are nasty to give to a dog. They splinter too easily and they could damage their stomachs and intestines and could be fatal. No chocolate at all!!! Despite popular belief, chocolate is a toxic food not only is it not healthy for dogs but cats as well.
Grease and ham is not a good combo to give to your dog. Their digestive tract is nothing like a humans are. Nor spicy foods should be given to them.
Don't give them candy or caramels either. If they have too much of this stuff they could develope diabetes just like humans do.
Your best bet is to give your dogs their dog food and some dog biscuits. These are the food items specifically made for them.
Good luck and I hope you and your dogs have a healthy and compassionate lives together!
I hope I was some what helpful.

You should not give your dog any table scraps at all and no chocolate(obviously)! Also you should not give your dog a lot of fatty foods because it can put them off of their diet and also can make them sick! High cholesterhol is bad for a dog and it can slow them down also so try to refrain from anything that is not dogfood or to many treats in one day! Usually the back of the treat box tells you up to how many treats you can give your dog a day depending on its size and so if you read that you can follow that chart! Well I hope You Have Fun With Your DoGGy!

Chicken bones can splinter and choke a dog. Grapes have some chemical in them that poisons dogs. Plus all the other stuff your answerers have mentioned. Basically, if it isn't meat, cheese, bread or rice, it's probably not good for the dog. Dog food is best. Ours do not eat table scraps.

You really shouldn't give them any "people food" at all. Dogs are supposed to stick to a strict diet as they have sensitive digestive systems. Unless you want your dog to get sick all over the place, stick to dog food and the occasional dog treat. Also, if you ever find yourself switching dog foods, you should do it gradually, mixing it in with the old stuff over a course of a few days or weeks, depending on what your vet recommends, to reak less havoc on its stomach. There are of course few foods you can give in moderation: sugar/salt free peanut butter and cheerios. The makers of Kong (dog toy) have a listing of other healthy food you can give to your pup. :)

Never give a dog chocolate or I think sweets in general, it does something to thier stomachs, and I think chocolate (don't know if its true) could actually kill a dog.

Chocolate, onions, and avocados are the worst. Onions and avocados will mess up a dog's liver. Pretty much everything else is ok in moderation. My dog is especially fond of veggies.

Chocolate is the obvious. Things with seeds in them. The best things to give dogs (and my dog loves all of these) are carrots, broccoli, lettuce, apples, strawberries, green beans, peppers, peanut butter, and cheese.

do not give your dog rawhide...they do not pass this well, it will not break down in the tummy and can cause a blockage.
Anything from a real animal is good....pigs ears just keep an eye on them, They even have bull penis...<---not kidding its a stick anywhere from a foot or more longer

You should not offer your dog anything other than kibble. It has the vitamins and nutrients that are essential for them. Food scraps are even a bad idea.
