I had a hamster once, and it was sooo cute. One day I found a stray cat, and I thought my Hamster wanted to play with the cat (I was 9) so I put my hamster on the cats head and it ate it..

You aren't a murderer but you are an accessory.

The hamster must have been pretty hungry to eat a cat (hahaha, just kidding).

You got a lesson is childhood innocence. You thought that two incompatible species wanted to "play" but you didn't realize that you were offering the cat a tasty morsel. I'm sure after that you weren't quite as naive.

And this also depends on your viewpoint, I like cats a lot more than hamsters so I would be more likely to just dismiss this as you giving a cat a little treat.

Hamsters are disposable pets anyways, your pet rodent probably wouldn't have lived much longer anyways. Consider your actions as euthanasia--you put the hamster out of its misery before it could grow old, feeble, and sick.

And by the way, your hamster probably wasn't so innocent itself. Hamsters eat each other, and their babies, all the time. You could have put that hamster in with another hamster and got the same results.

You were only nine, and didn't understand what you were doing. The fact that you feel bad about it, instead of laughing about it, shows you are a decent person.

You can't help the hamster now, but you can learn from your mistake. And, if you still feel terrible about it, consider doing something useful like volunteering at an animal shelter to at least help improve the lives of other animals.

Just try to find a no-kill shelter; I don't understand how anyone could bear working in the kind of shelter where they kill kittens and puppies (the orphaned little ones that need to be bottle fed are almost always killed, because they don't have the people to do it).

Your hamster ate a cat? I have a dog that I don't care for very much. Can I borrow that hamster?

curiosity isn't a sin and you were only 9 you didn't understand. You aren't a murderer tons of people make this mistake. If you still feel bad get a new hamster.

you aren't a murderer, you were a child who didn't think things through before you acted. That's what kids do. Now go get yourself another hamster and keep the kitty away from it!

you may feel however you want to, but you didn't know any better. the hamster might not ever forgive you, but i am sure the cat thanked you. just be carefull next time and think before you act.

i feel sorry for the hamster, but if you honestly did not mean for his little death to happen then you shouldn't feel guilty because you did not kill him on purpose. kids often don't realize the consequences of their actions until it is too late
