My lights have been out since last Thursday, and the temps have not gotten above freezing generally speaking. Is it ok to eat the food in my fridge?

Hi I placed an order with Figis and figis.com shows my order status as "WILL SHIP FOR NOW ARRIVAL UNLESS NOTIFIED" That doesn't seem to make sense to me. Does anyone know what that means? I called Figis but the rep was less than helpful.

I have a PC, Monitor,Modem, TV, Cable box and a mini-fridge plugged in. I go to plug in the Christmas tree lights and the breakers trips. I unplug the Christmas tree lights and reset the breaker. I go into the laundry/storage room (also in the basement.) Turn on the light switch and the breaker trips again. Reset the breakers and experienced no troubles the rest of the night. Do I have too much power going on and not enough power to support it?

I'm going to buy a fridge this weekend. Can I use my suv to take it home? I was told that you have to transport a fridge standing up. Is this so?

What the story? Smell of burning wood around the house.
Neighbours next door built an extension. Looks well. But they got a wood burning stove put in. The flue comes to our side of the garden, from the extension, about 12 feet away from our toilet window. So every time the burner is on if the window is open we can smell smoke. The chimney flue is about 3 feet above the roof, which is about 13 feet high.
Just want to know what the normal height for the chimney flues is. How far they should be put away from neighbours windows?

Thanks

Let's say you put both hot and cold knobs of your bathtub faucet to the same level and get luke warm water. To make it hotter is it more cost effective to reduce the cold water or to increase the hot water? Is there any difference seeing how the same amount of flow goes through the pipes either way?

I am looking for a motion lamp that I have seen in about 10 movies. They are always in kids rooms and the project images onto the walls, etc. I can't seem to find them. They are boxed shaped and have had airplanes, shapes, animals, etc images usually used as a night light on a night stand. I am in need of one for my son. I have seen them in Flight Plan, When a Stranger Calls the new one and a few other movies! Help! thank you.
