I have an area about 50 ft x 30 ft and it's completely overrun with bamboo. It is overrunning into my neighbor's yard. I need to get rid of this stuff but nothing works. I can't kill it, poison hasn't worked, nothing is getting rid of this damn bamboo (it was here when I moved in). I talked to a woman at the nursery and asked her how to get rid of it - she said pray.

It didn't work.

Anyone else have any great ideas? Thanks in advance!!

I don't know anything about bonsai trees except what I have seen online. My boyfriend has a Juniper Bonsai tree and the tree is almost brown. He has been fertilizing it and it is in a sunny area. He waters it when it needs watering. Now it's just getting to the point were I think it might be dead. How can I help fix the poor tree? I don't want to see it die. Plus we live in Nevada.

My husband and I just bought some property a couple months ago. It had a trailer on it that caught fire (blessing in disquise), but when we were going through the remains after the fire, I found at least 100 dollars in quarters. You can tell they are quarters, but some of them are pretty burnt. I tried cleaning them with viniger, acid, and oven cleaner. Nothing has really worked so far.

Does anyone know anything that might work to make them cleaner?

Every home has a toilet with a tank on the back (unless they use an outhouse). Is there a reason that toilets in homes have tanks? Would the flush valve simply not work in a residence? Why do hotel rooms toilets have tanks but the ones in the lobby have valves?

My floor fan is covered in dust (both the propellers and the outside grate). What is the best way to clean off the dust? I tried dryer sheets (to attract the dust), but it didn't really work. Thanks for your help!

It's at least 50 years old, and the bobbin is unlike any I've seen on any other machine, including my other antique singer table. Which has broken, or I'd use it instead of worrying about this one.

I want to get my girls bunkbeds and I like what I see at IKEA. However I have gotten mixed reviews when it comes to purchasing their furniture. Can I purchase the mattresses elsewhere along with sheets or will I be limited to IKEA's mattresses, sheets etc? I was told by someone that she thought because of the international sizing I couldn't just go anyplace else and purchase sheets that fit if I bought their bed.

Any suggestions?
