What type of string - twine can withstand the elements outdoors ?

I need a string for a A&C project that won't deteriate in the rain and snow.... Would like to use a natural material like hemp or jute.

Masonry string. Like bricklayers use, it's nylon and will last and very strong too. Hardware stores have it and it's inexpensive.

most natural materials will rot when left out in the weather. use nylon or go to the closest home repair or gardening center and ask what they recommend.

nylon will last the longest
