Try the following:
1. The bag is full (it doesn't have to be more than half full to not work)
2. The hose is clogged.
3. The machine is bad and you need to use your warrenty.

My wife can fix the sweeper when no one else can. She say's the only reason for no suction is because it is clogged up. Clean the head, the hose, and the filters (at least two) and one will be hard to find. Use the parts manual.

Check for obstructions leading to the container/dust bin.

Change the bag or make sure its not set for attatchments
