Kenmore is the Sears store brand. Sears/Kenmore does not make anything they have other manufacturers put the Kenmore name on them. They can be manufactured by any of several companies. Whirlpool is the main supplier but they can come from G.E. or Electrolux etc. etc...

Kenmore products are manufactured by just about all the major appliance companies. Whirlpool, GE, Frigidaire, Bosch, Maytag(which is now owned by Whirlpool). If you look at appliances at LOWES you will be able to tell which ones make the different models for Kenmore. They will be less expensive at LOWES.

Sears "does not" manufacture their appliances. Most are Whirlpool.
