For the last eight years, I have processed fish leftovers (bones, skin etc.) through a mill of my own design. The result is a large collection of dense, solid bricks that I wish to use in the construction of an annexe to my house. Will I need to inform the council of my plans?

I will be moving out as soon as I get accepted to colleges. I have never moved out before and I was wondering how to find an apt. Where do I look? What procedures should I expect? How long is the process? How much paper work? etc.

Thanks!

I would really like to burn candles in the house, but have to be careful due to the soot that is created by some of them. (Asthma). Are soy candles good alternatives? Looking for something that will burn clean and still have a nice scent. Thanks for the help!

Southern Ohioans:

Does anyone know of a place I can take glass to be recycled? I have places for paper, steel, aluminum, plastic, etc... but the place I used to take glass no longer accepts it. I've tried several local places but no place will take glass. I'm willing to drive a fair distance to recycle glass--I could save up my bottles for a month or so and take them in one trip.

Thanks in advance for any help!

My home is built on a concrete slab and the patio window is about 2 inches off the ground. Everytime it rains earthworms somehow crawl into the patio window and are found inside my house. What can I do to prevent the worms from coming inside? Is there some chemical that I can spread to kill them off or greatly reduce the population of worms around my patio window?

Both claim to give a natural "white" light. The GE's are kind of purple while the Sylvania's are blue.

Is one better than the other? I need 2 60 watters.

Thanks.

I received a lemon tree about a year ago.
It became infested with scale. The scale was so bad that we removed it from the dirt, cut all the branches down, sterlized the roots, and chemically treated the new dirt.
Suprisingly, it is still alive.
But now, about four months later it is infested with fruit flies. I am treating it with "Fruit and Vegetable Insect Spray", but I think it's starting to burn the leaves.
Any ideas how I can keep this poor tree form getting bugs?
I have no other plants in the house.
Thanks!

We would like to have alot of agriculture, no animals, except horses. We want to get at least 40 acres, we would like good weather and a picturesque setting, but rain and good conditions is a must, we were looking at Oregon, any other suggestions.
