My home is built on a concrete slab and the patio window is about 2 inches off the ground. Everytime it rains earthworms somehow crawl into the patio window and are found inside my house. What can I do to prevent the worms from coming inside? Is there some chemical that I can spread to kill them off or greatly reduce the population of worms around my patio window?

Create mufflers. Just take a rolled up rag or a towel and place is on the window sill or at the bottom of the window. This will muffle the sound. Also check the seals on the windows. If you have noisy neighbors tell them to quiet down, or if you live by the highway, move. Also look into soundproof glass.

close the patio door when it rains. worms have no eyes, so can't see a fish tank like this other guy said. or better yet, get the fish tank, feed the worms to the fish. consider it free fish food. Then when the fish are good and big and look tasty, have a fish fry.
