For the last eight years, I have processed fish leftovers (bones, skin etc.) through a mill of my own design. The result is a large collection of dense, solid bricks that I wish to use in the construction of an annexe to my house. Will I need to inform the council of my plans?

In my estimation, the building material is untested. I would think that if they're paying attention, that they wouldn't allow it.

It will DEEPEND on what SCALE you want to build it, and when you expect to FINish it. If I was you I would appROACH the council to find the in,s and TROUTS of it all. But be careful as you RUDDy well know what councils are like. Ring them up and EEL be roud as quick as a flash

Yes and I would certainly tell the environmental health people in case there is some regulation that prevents you from doing so since it will be a dwelling place.

Yes, this will not constitute correct building materials and you would need to get this scientifically proven to be acceptable. I bet you house would not only be biodegradable and recycled, but stink like a sweaty fanny
