My friend has a bathroom that has poor circulation, and due to the dampness mold is growing on the ceiling. What would the best solution to his mold problem? Is there a particular mold resistant paint he can use? He lives in an apartment, so fixing the circulation problem in general may not be possible.

I am looking for the manufacturer of a french chic antique cabbage rose or also known as english rose garden quilt. I have found this quilt on Ebay and Overstock .com. On Overstock .com catalog #10087542. I also have a model #GL-WB0726.

This is a beautiful quilt with an antique tea background. With a romantic French blend of colors including melon rose and pink roses, butter yellow, sage green, rose and a touch or French periwinkle blue. It has several prints consisting of roses, wildflowers, vintage roses, and cabbage roses along with a ticking stripe and garlands of flowers.

I want to find the manufacturer to inquire about purchasing fabric to make window treatments. According to the two vendors I have found to have this item there are none available.

Any help is appreciated,

Pat

I think it might be birds or mice, I can hear scratching and bits of plaster falling into the cavity wall. How did they get in, no noticeable damage to the outside of the house. More importantly, how to get rid of them, reluctant to trap as decomposing vermin it not really the ambient smell I go for. Definitely no food or even crumbs they could eat anywhere in the house, I'm fanatical but, I heard they can live on paper, is that true? Has anyone else had a similar experience? I've never had anything like this before and I don't like it a bit. The house is rented, is it something the landlord needs to sort out?

Bigger = more expense to heat, more clearing up, more decorating etc.

But more room to move about, more places to put things, more room, more comfortable? (would you feel more comfortable?)

I am a hopeful first-time homebuyer in Denver, CO. Having never done this before, I don't know how much of a down payment I should plan to make (%). I know there are programs to do it with no down payment, but I think it would be better to make one. I have heard that mortgage insurance may be required if I don't make a big enough down payment. Can I expect, 5%, 7.5%, 10%, other %? Thanks!

It seems like housing will be a lot more expensive if they use union laborers to build them. How come some states use only union labor and others use most likely undocumented workers? There is a big difference in pay scale and therefore a big difference in the cost to build. Do you have any state laws that require workers to be trained, licensed or union? This is a hard question to find a category for. Home and garden seemed the closest.
