You must be in or around the Chicago area. We beat you to it - We had snow here yesterday and it's snowing again here today. I live in Minnesota. Me and my family are actually thrilled to see snow...We are avid downhill skiers! For me: I love the snow, but don't like the super below zero cold that winters can bring.

Well, I guess it depends on how MUCH snow. I live in California, in the Bay Area. About 13 years ago, we got about a 1" dusting of snow and my family and neighbors went nuts! LOL!
So, enjoy your beautiful snow! It's going to be in the high 70's here today. I love this time of the year. : )

Wow! But then, this is my first year in a tropical zone, and while I am enjoying the weather (shorts in October), I sure do miss the colors of the trees changing on the mountainsides back home. Positives and Negatives to each place, I guess. Stay warm:)

Snow has been known to fall in October before. So I don't really agree with your statement. Enjoy it though! Snowfalls are great to watch!
It is freezing like the dickens in Oklahoma - its cloudy but no rain or snow.

Hurray!!! I love snow...i am orginally from Buffalo, New York and now i live here in Atlanta.......Christmas hasnt been the same(No White xmas)
