Drywall tape is seaparting from celing in 5"-8" sections. We need to repair so we can repaint the ceiling. Superglue the answer? I am afraid if I rip it down (or cut the bad section) it will look obvious. Wife thinks best bet might be just to caulk the "bubbles" then it wont be so obvious. There are also some nails that have "popped" out. I have taken a nail punch and put them back in but should I just cut the drywall protrustion then cut out the drywall then re plaster? I tried to push it back but it didnt go back enough. The ceiling is lightly spackeled.

Palomar home builders wont repair their mistake and we have tried several times to have them finish the repair. It was first a pipe they never glued which turned into mold. They removed the mold but cutting it out of the ceiling. and never finished the repair, My family is now breathing in fiberglass from the 3-4 foot hole left open from their contractor that never finished the job. 4 weeks are going by. NOW i need to file complaints with whomever we need to. PLEASE HELP with the government agencies on where we should start, I appreciate it!

OK so I recently posted a question about my shallow well (6ft) jet pump short cycling. I changed out the pressure tank and put a check valve in and that took care of the problem. Things were good for a while, but now another problem has developed. It is no longer delivering water correctly. A couple days ago, the water cut off on my wife while she was in the shower. I went down and checked the pump to find that it was not drawing any water at all (pressure was staying at about 28psi and not rising at all.) I turned the pump off and told her she was out of luck. The strange thing is, I went down and turned it back on a couple hours later and the pressure built right back up. To make a long story short, it seems like it can pump the water if you are just cycling it once, but if there is a continuous demand for water, it is not working correctly. The same thing happened this morning when she tryed a shower. I know it sounds like we are out of water, but it rained all day yesterday. Ideas?

I turned the termostat down to 60 and hit the reset button but it's still running. I turned it off. The motor stop completely. Turned it back on, and it's still running.

It's a propane/fuel furnace.

It's 8 degrees outside.

I have a heat pump, fan wont stop running even after turning thermostat to the off position. It will shut down by cutting all power by throwing the breaker.
While in the off position, I threw the breaker back on, Fan did not come on till I turned it on at the thermostat. Once I turned it on, I could not turn it off.
Heat & Air do work, it's just that the fan runs constantly.
Could this be a faulty thermostat? Or is there something in the outside unit that could cause this?

I have a flourescant tube light, powered simply by a length of cable with a 5amp fuse and plug, switched on and off at a wall socket. If I want to introduce a 'pull cord' type switch next to the tube on the ceiling, how do I do it? The switch has a 1 way a 2 way and a com connectors. I have a feeling this is very simple and I am just not thinking straight, any help, gratefully recieved, Thanx.

I'm working in a decorative chrome-plating industry, not (hard-chrome). I usually take service job of chrome-plating banquet chairs, wheel rims, mufflers, etc. Sometimes, the chrome-plating result is not as stable/constant in quality or satisfactory as I had expected (not shiny enough or not rust-resistant enough). So I need something to measure the quality by putting up a standard, which I hope that this measurement tool (if any) would help me.
