Most reversible old fashioned, Glues still used today in Furniture Restoration.. are Animal glues... Horses etc..There is even one called Squirrel glue...(true). Bet you cant guess what this is made from ? Yes, and it stinks very very badly, when boiled up. !
So Slug glue sounds o.k. ! Not too much salt with it though. Try adding a horses hoof or two. for consistency (body).

You'd have to hurry because salt on slugs make the slug disappear.

i had a fantastic garden and in order to keep it ,I would have to go out just ofter dark with a torch in order to catch them before they devoured my plants, but I never tried putting salt on them, maybe if i did they would of stuck themselves to the ground and i would not have had to of bothered looking for them again untill the rain washed the salt away, so see if it works and sell your idea to the gardeners word magazine. nobody has come up with an answer to this problem yet ,sluggits don't work.

Other than making it a sticky good time, no! Or if you are using a tissue paper like material; you might have a glue.
