I'd do it myself, actually. But the job shouldn't cost more than 300-400 bucks for the slab itself. If the code in your area calls for a ratwall, tack on another 300-400.

Your cost to lay your slab est. depending on depth, 2",4",6", I would go with either 4" or 6", At current cost of foundation soil, sand at a cost of min 2 yds of ea. 150.00 includes delivery, for proper drainage, rebar for integrity don't forget this cost due to that water weighs 6lbs, and at 320 to 350 gals depending on your tub weight, plus the water thats over 3000 + lbs. so you don't want to crack your slab, and wood for form, and the mud at a cost of 90 to 120 yd. and don't forget the equipment rental Mixer, compactor, trowels, possibly a bobcat so you don't have to shovel all that soil and sand and whatever else I missed at a cost per day. for the (DIY) don't for get you have to dig the site out, probably 1 ft, with 4" of soil, 4" of sand, and the remaining 4" rebar, and formset, or if you go 6" then it would be 18" 6" of soil, then 6" of sand:then rebar and formset. for the (DIY) possibly 700-900 with permits, and your going to want a permit,if you don't forget recouping the cost when you sell the house, permit may cost 50-100 depending where you live,if you go with a construction company 1000-1500+ depending on problems that may arise and that will be with a permit no mater what, they won't without it , liablity. if you do it yourself, goto lowes they have a how to with concrete book which tells you what all goes into it, so when someone tells you 400.00 think again. theres alot more that goes on with doing this task. hope this helps,Also if it helps contact a construction company to check the prices , but it's not going to be cheap.

I'd guess about $400 to do the job, including material and labor.
