has anyone done this type of course, just interested in hearing opinions on it, i want to do this course in the hope it could lead to a trainee position in this industry!

Was involved in air conditioning for many years and for two years I was a lecturer in the subject. It is very relevant at this time *** the hotter summers are sure to lead to greater demand. Try to learn the calculations for sizing the units as well as the practical installation side as this could lead you into more managerial positions. You also then have an option of turning your knowledge of refrigeration towards repair of domestic fridges as the trend these days is to throw them out when it goes wrong which is really a great waste of materials and eventually disposal space.

Go for it . . . At least you will know what your co-workers are talking about after this course.
A prospective employeer should not have to train u as much after taking the course & be more apt to hire you. . .
