TAKE OUT THE BATTERY! Set the seperate pieces in front of a fan or even a space heater (low heat) for several hours. it may be salvageable, but a wash cycle is pretty long and aggrivating. good luck

I dove into the pool with my phone in my pocket! I took out the battery and let it dry for a whole day, but it still didn't work. Then I was told you can bake it in your oven at the lowest setting (200*) for an hour. I thought it would melt, but it didn't. Then when I put the battery back in, I couldn't believe it, but it worked again! The screen never looked quite right again though. I'm not sure if this will always work, but it's worth a try!

It probably is toast but take the battery off and just let it dry out. If you have a dehumidifier put the phone on it and wait for at least a few days. It is possible that it might work again but not likely going through a washing machine.
Good luck.

A lot of good ideas except the microwave(will toast the electronics) and the 200° oven(no wonder the LCD is funky)
Just leave it open in front of a warm not hot heat for a few days.
Maybe if you left it open resting on a heating pad on high.
Good luck(check ur pockets next time).

The elctronics are probably OK, and a thorough drying (in air - not a microwave) might bring them back, but the speaker is probably toast. It's worth a try however. As said, take off the battery and let it sit in the warmest place in your house for a few days.

My cellular telephone went by an entire washer cycle and got here decrease back from the useless. It took about 2 weeks, yet i wager the circuits in simple terms finally dried out sufficient to commence operating lower back. it really is a Samsung. when I were given it out of the dryer, it became completely useless. It buzzed for all time and had a pink show. I left the battery out and in simple terms enable it sit down out at the same time as I were given yet another telephone. I put in the battery in certain circumstances to study on it, notwithstanding it would in simple terms buzz and characteristic a pink show. After about 2 weeks, notwithstanding it all started initiating then going black. After a lengthy time period it all started up and stayed up. Now it really is decrease back to acceptable operating situation. So per chance in simple terms provide it a at the same time as. there is not any longer some thing else you could do truly, notwithstanding it ought to come decrease back.

AN ENTIRE WASH CYCLE?? ummm...sorry love, its gone...If it was just a quick drop in a puddle or something you could take out battery and it could dry. I did this once, and it still works sometimes it wont but then I shake it and it will work again...but AN ENTIRE WASH CYCLE? Its gone...Im sorry.....give it a proper burial..

Oh, and MICROWAVE?? LOL.....thats funny...but seriously dont do that for obvious reasons..

Good Luck!

whatever you do...DON'T PUT IT IN THE MICROWAVE!!! or you will have to get a new microwave as well as a new phone. take it apart as much as you can and let it dry out for at least 24 hours, it might work but i wouldn't count on it. sorry.

Hopefully you have insurance on it because I've done the same thing and it was ruined in the washer!
