My yard is so infeasted with fleas i can't kill them, i have a concrete yard no grass I have sprayed everything to plants, street dirt, even my cars, but to no avail. Is there's a cure to get them out of our yard ? P.S all of our neighbors have pets that stroll through our street.

The floor is nothing but cement dust and the walls are startiing to crumble as well. Can I reinforce them with anything, or am I just better off pushing the house in on itself and moving?

I live in California and I don't know the laws about tenant responsibilities. Am I supposed to pay for vandalism? There's nothing in my rental agreement that says I'm liable for someone breaking something from outside the property.

I am looking to sell my house next year but I think there may be several things wrong with it. I am noticing small black dots on my ceiling from time to time. I am worried it might be mold. I also have some condensation in a couple of spots. I try to clean up the spots with bleach but in a few months they come back. Should I get this checked before trying to sell? Should I tell the real estate agent? I don't know who to call or how much it would cost to fix. Could it be that I need my roof replaced or worse?
Advice please!!

I have a large amount of carpet that got wet in a basement flood. I need to cut it into manageable pieces but it's very difficult to cut. I've been using a box cutter but it's not easy. Any suggestions?

I'm not the handiest of sorts; when we moved to our condo a few months ago, the previous owner had a hampton bay ceiling fan over the dining room rather than the living room portion of the living area. I want to move it but I do not know if it'll be a lot of work. Or if it is complicated at all. Is there somewhere online where I can find detailed instructions (specific links please)

I returned back from a business trip to discover that water has come through the ceiling from my neighbour's bathroom. There is now an 80cm x 100 cm damp patch on the wall (both sides) in my hall and bathroom, and a similar sized one on the ceiling. What can be done about it, and seeing as it is the second time the nerk has caused damage to my flat due to negligence over plumbing fixtures, is there any way I can get some kind of compensation?

Besides a leak in the bowl, can anyone think of another explaination for this? The toilet flushes, the bowl fills, then after about 15 min, there is only enough water to fill the hole in the bottom. Any other ideas besides a cracked bowl?

Brought an old cottage with damp problems that were promised to be fixed and to our knowledge they were. Chimney rebuilt, damp coarse done, all the usual the survey told us the damp upstairs due to poor ventilation in chimney but they had put pots on with tile covers so it could breath. Had to wait for it to dry out brought dehumidifier drying out a treat. Then winter came heavy rain water dripped through ceiling don,t know wher from roof fine. Then damp appears on inside partition wall. Ripped out built in wardrobes innext room walls damp. We have rerendered the chimney watersealed it flashin & rooftiles are good. We recapped the unused outside chimneys with flat topped terracotta pots with vents in sides. Watersealed whole house dampseal painted the inside walls and its started coming through again but worse the walls are now wringing wet did we do wrong with the capping or is it the walls that are porous its single brick rendered & over 100yrs old house. We're unsure wher to get help

The water storage tank in our Apt block is ok, and the neighbours supply is fine. I don't know if i should replace the ballcock (which was replaced 18 months ago). Could it be an airlock or faulty valve??.....Thanks guys!!:)

We just moved into an important and it's great aside from the toilet. There's enough water to fully flush but after the flush, the water in the bowl is very low, almost at the bottom. We have to do a half flush to fill it back up to normal levels. I've tried to add more water to the reservoir but that hasn't really done the trick. Does anyone have any idea how to make it so that after a flush, the water in the bowl itself returns to a normal level for a toilet? Thanks.
