anyone know of a re-set button or something that may need to be used?

Both answers of keeping fridge upright are very correct. One more possibility........have you checked the cold control switch inside your refrigerator section??? If its not in the center of the selections and is in the OFF position or "0" Zero, it wont run.

No reset on compressor, but they usually are warrentied for Five Years.....so, call the manufacturer back to check it out if it really is the compressor.

Some have to be left un-plugged for 6-8 hours before you can plug in. Depends how it was stored in the delivery truck,something to do with the gas and the fridge has to be stored up-right in transit

I don't know of any reset, but if you laid it flat to get it home, it should have stood upright for as long as it was flat before you plugged it in. If you didn't you may have ruined the compressor.
