If something was whistling at me when I took a shower I'd be very flattered.

Either your shower head or your cartridge has a calcium build up.

Try replacing your shower head, which is the easier of the two jobs. You'd need a special tool for the cartridge, and they don't come cheap.

Gasket, flashing connection is not snug. Or, it may be that there is a calcium or mineral buildup from the water. Try to clean it with hot vinegar. There are products on the market that specialize in cleaning hard water build up.

Try replacing the shower head first. If that does not work then you will need to buy a kit and replace all the handles.

Sounds like someting is blocking the pipe or showerhead. Try taking off the head, and cleaning it (If there is a lot of stuff in it get a new one). If this doesnt help, call a plumber.

Sounds like the PSI is low. (PSI is 'pressure per square inch'. It is the amount of force behind the spray of water) There isn't much that you can do to fix the problem. The cause could be from new house or regional development.
