My lawnmower will only start with starter fluid when sprayed on the filter. But it just runs a little while. It has a primer bulb but that doesn't start it. I took the bowl off and cleaned it out. Is there someting else I need to check? This is my first time trying to repair it by myself. Can someone please give me some idea.
Thanks
Lisa

I started draining my radiators today fearing a clog since our heater hadn't turned on yet. After dumping at least ten gallons, I'm wondering how much more I have to go... The pilot light is ON on our gas pushed-water heater... new to this... advice appreciated... TIM

I've just noticed this and am concerned because I've never heard of this. Do I need to call maintenance to come look at it?

The drain under my bathtub takes an immediate 90 turn before taking another right hand turn to a trap(this tub drains to a pipe in the bottom of the trap). My 2nd floor tub also drains to this trap but enters from the top. Finally there is a pipe in the middle that releases the water from the trap.

I bought a house that the inspector said I need to put in plastic in the crawl space to help the insulation. There is a 3 foot gap between the dirt and the house above. But my friend who builds houses said I do not need it because of the gap above the dirt floor to the house wood above. Do you think I should lay down plastic for better insultation?

I bought some cement, but no sand or aggregate, and want to fill in some holes in uneven bricks to create a flat surface to rest some boards on. Will mixing only water and cement give me a usable outcome, or is sand/aggregate a required ingredient?

Whenever it rains, the lead which is coming from the aerial on the roof into my telly has water coming out of it. The water seems to be actually going THROUGH the wire, not on the outside and the metal bit on the end has started to rust. Has anyone else had this problem and how did they solve it?

We oil the cabinets twice a year to keep the wood from drying out. Over time the areas on the doors where you grab to open them get soiled. How can I clean up the dark areas but not ruin the wood?
