Sir or Madam:

You may obtain copies of floor plans which
comply with ADA specs at the office of
your local Building Inspector or Building
Permit Office. Check for their address and
contact telephone number in your local
phone book. I am certain they will be happy
to provide you with this material.

Here's the index page of several ADA Housing Solutions:
http://sp-foundation.org/forum-links.htm#Housing

Bob Villa has a thorough ADA Bathroom Plan listed on the above Index Page.

Also, ask the person with a disability to make a list of any amenities he/she would have in their "ideal" bathroom. It may not be ADA required, but will be meaningful to the user!
Best to you.

It would be easier to know the requirement and build one around that....Like....The ADA toilet can be purchased at Home Depot or Lowes, the Turn radius is 5 feet....fixtures are mounted center at 36 inchs...the door has to be 3 feet wide and open out....a 3 feet grab bar at 36 inches on the back of the toilet and a 4 foot one on the wall nearest and perpendicular to the back wall of the toilet. the swiches and plugs need to be at 42 to 48 inches to center....all other fixtures are mounted at 36 to 42 inches with the exception to the toilet paper holder...needs to be 7 inches past the leading edge of the toilet and between 17 & 19 inches off the floor....The door handle has to be a lever style.....Also the underside of the sink has to be covered with a plastic covered foam protective sleeves.......Good Luck
