Looks like the connector on the coax that screws into the aerial is loose and is letting the rain in ...You will have to get it reconnected ...
Do it b4 the weather gets worse..remember water and electricity don't mix..If u can't get up to the roof look in the local papers for a aerial installation company. You might also consider getting the coax replaced as it could cause problems in the future with signal degregatrion ..

Quite common, the lead has been flapping around on your roof or gutter and the pvc sheath has been cut through, whenever it rains water will penetrate and run down inside. This will corrode the braid, cause a poor signal, wet your carpet and could damage your tv and you if it gets inside. Get it replaced ASAP and fixed in place.

You need to seal the lead at the aerial on the roof.

you have to go on the roof and seal up around the area the wire comes thru the roof with a sealant like tar or some other water repellent type of patch.

No it does not mean a new Ariel at all if the water has got in due to cable rubbing off guttering or rubbing off tiles due to not been anchored down on roof with hooks there will be nothing at all wrong with the antenna

This will DEFINITELY damage your TV permanently so you should have it dealt with as soon as possible.
All that's happening is that water is getting inside your ariel or junction box. Water can taravel surprisingly far through an ariel cable. I had water POURING out once.
Promise me you'll have it repaired as soon as you can because it IS dangerous.

The cable should have a loop on it that goes down and then up so water cant flow along the cable and into the house. Plus the entry hole should be caulked.
